The Mark H. Baer Award was established in 1990 to recognize a San Andreas Chapter member who has contributed to the Chapter or to the profession either during the current year or throughout their career. Mr. Baer is recognized as the "founder of the San Andreas Chapter." After joining the Special Libraries Association in 1957, Mark served in many chapter, division and national offices.
